Product Description

The SL Series has a steel substrate fully encapsulated in flexible, lubricious TPE for superior abrasion and chemical resistance. It has 4-axis flexibility and acts as a best-in-class grommet edge or a high-performance edge trim.

Spring-Fast grommets offer 3 significant benefits to manufacturers:

1- Superior wire protection: the steel substrate core provides superior edge retention without adhesives vs. nylon/plastic glued in grommets.
2- The fast and easy snap on installation without glue lowers costs 49% vs. grommets with glue.
3- It improves efficiency for this task by 9.5x – due to far fewer steps in workflow.

This form of grommet for wire protection has a variety of names: plastic grommets, plastic edge protection, flexible edging, rubber edging trim, rubber edge trim, wire grommets, caterpillar grommets, railroad track grommets, chicken track grommets, cable bushings, cable pass-throughs and cable grommets.
