BKV 5400 Series Surface Blowdown Valves are designed for the continuous removal of dissolved solids (TDS) from steam boilers. They help maintain a stable TDS level in the boiler water and reduce the risk of foaming and carryover. When used with surface blowdown control systems and conductivity controllers, they provide fast-responding, precise, and reliable operation. Thanks to their robust construction, they improve boiler efficiency and reduce operating costs.

The BKV 5400 series valves can be used together with the following surface blowdown systems:
BS4, BS4-T, D-BS4, DBS4-T, BS5-T, D-BS5-T, and D-BS6-T systems.
