The SBD belt driven actuator provides a higher level of performance in terms of load capacity and life than other comparable sized linear actuators.

High load capacity – Incorporating HepcoMotion’s re-circulating ball guide technology, SBD offers excellent rigidity and load capacity up to 13,760N.
Suitable for normal and dirty environments – The unit is housed in an anodised aluminium beam and is completely enclosed with a stainless steel cover to provide excellent protection from dirt and debris.
Multi-axis movement – SBD belt driven actuators are suitable for single or multi-axis applications and can be supplied with a wide range of gearboxes, motors and drives.
Versatile – A corrosion resistant version with all external components made in stainless steel or anodised aluminium is also available.
Clean room compatible versions available – Ideal for scientific and electronics applications.

Additional Information:

• Multi axis movements can be constructed using standard connecting shafts and couplings
• Easy fitting of gearboxes and motors – the flange can be tailored to suit individual preferences
• Product line incorporates deeper XL beam for long length applications where the beam is used as part of the structure
• High moment load option features additional guides, reducing the need to run a second unit in parallel when the load is positioned off-centre to the axis
