Parts Database Classifications

The TraceParts parts database is organized according to different tree-structured classifications:

  • A general classification, called "Extended I.C.S Classification", featuring all the parts present in TraceParts. This is the default classification when TraceParts is started for the first time.
  • A specific classification for each manufacturer.

You can change the classification by clicking on the pull-down menu. The current classification will automatically be saved when closing TraceParts.

    Notes:

    • If you are only working with one classification, you can hide this window. It can be displayed again by clicking on the View | Classification menu option
    • Logo displayed above the current classification is also a link to the website of the related manufacturer (when available)
