Menus and Icons

File Menu

The first two choices are active only if the part is selected in the "PartsDetail" tab.
"Quit" is equivalent to clicking on the Close box.

Note: If "Quit" is selected while the CAD software from which TraceParts was started is open, TraceParts will be merely hidden and will continue to run in the background.

 


View Menu

Classification & Documents correspond respectively to areas 2 and 6 of the interface.







Tools Menu

Associated Icons in the tools bar:
Opens the configuration window.
Opens the external links window (if the corresponding license is available).



"?" Menu



Associated Icons in the tools bar:
Opens Help (this document if it is installed).
Opens the Web browser on the TraceParts home page.

Details of the choices:

Opens Help
Catalogs – Request for Catalogs Open the request for catalogs page.
Catalogs – Installed Catalogs Displays the list of the catalogs installed at the time of complete installation.
Note: The list can be displayed only on the workstation used to carry out the complete installation (it will be empty on any other workstation)
Internet - www.traceparts.com Opens the home page of the TraceParts SA site
Internet – Technical Support Opens the home page of the TraceParts SA Help Center.
Opens the "Protection" dialog box.
About Opens the TraceParts "About" window. It contains the library version number, the license information, access to the list of installed catalogs and access to the protection box
